Qiang Wu with his collaborator from MIT
Also, poster author Qiang Wu is the only participant from mainland China. He told me it took him a long time to get visa. He printed the poster 4 by 8 feet, the same size as the poster board. He had to check in the poster during the flight because it is too long.
In collaboration with a group at MIT, where he also worked one and a half years as a postdoc, he obtained some beautiful experimental results about THz phone polariton Wave.
The other poster is from Yoshitaka Taira from Japan. He has a cloth poster! Our posters were next to each other. I didn't notice until he was taking it down. His work is about generation of laser Compton scattering gamma rays.
